Q: What is the primary mission of the Aspiring Herbalists Club?
A: The Aspiring Herbalists Club (AHC) provides structured mentorship, ethical training, and community for individuals at all stages of herbal study. Rather than forcing memorization, our pathway balances herbal tradition with clinical science to help you develop your own holistic clinical thought process, and confidence as an herbalist just beginning or an herbalist-in-practice.
Q: How much do the mentorship levels cost?
A: We offer three distinct tiers tailored to your educational goals:
Level 1: Classes -$99/month (3-month minimum commitment)
Level 2: Become Your Own Client (1:1) - $149/month (6-month minimum commitment): Full Level 1 access plus one private 60-minute strategy session monthly & Test Client learning opportunities (shadowing).
Level 3: Herbalist Apprenticeship Track - $595/month (12-month agreement): Full Level 1 and Level 2 access + Supervised clinical training with the HWB LV Chapter Free Clinic
Q: How are live classes structured and what are the class options?
A: Overall club enrollment across all levels is strictly capped at 48 mentees to ensure personalized guidance. Live Level 1 and Level 2 classes take place on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of each month. Upon enrollment, you will select one of two dedicated class times: Class A (11:00 AM – 12:30 PM PST) or Class B (1:00 PM – 2:30 PM PST). Each class session is strictly capped at 22 mentees to ensure high-touch interaction.
Q: Is there an enrollment fee to join?
A: The standard $100 enrollment fee (which covers onboarding and Herbalists Without Borders volunteer liability protection) is WAIVED for all new Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 current mentees & returning mentees, and Intern Team members for the remainder of 2026.
Q: How does mentor communication work, and how quickly can I expect replies?
A: All core learning questions, casework reflections, and group discussions take place inside the private AHC Wix Member Portal. Carmen reviews and responds to portal posts three days a week (Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM PST). For non-urgent portal items, please allow a 24- to 48-hour administrative response window. Private billing or scheduling troubleshooting are handled directly via text/phone 725-677-5119.
Q: Can I log clinical contact hours toward Registered Herbalist (RH) credentials?
A: Yes! For Level 3 Apprentices participating in the Herbalists Without Borders (HWB) Las Vegas Chapter Free Clinics, we formally document both Direct Clinical Hours (live client intakes/shadowing) and Indirect Clinical Hours (case research, formulation rationales, remedy batching). Cumulative hours are audited on your formal evaluation reports to support your American Herbalists Guild (AHG) or academic portfolio.
Q: What is the scope of practice for mentees and apprentices?
A: Mentees operate under a strict dual-scope framework. Mentees do not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure medical conditions, nor do they advise clients to adjust prescribed medications. Mentees focus on health coaching (lifestyle/habit tracking) and supervised herbal assessment (root-cause mechanism tracing and custom formulation logic under direct mentor oversight).
Q: Can licensed or certified practitioners offer private services to other members?
A: No. To maintain a safe, collaborative, and non-commercial learning environment, mentees holding outside licenses or certifications may not market or offer private commercial services to fellow club members during active enrollment.
Q: What happens if I miss a live class or 1:1 strategy session?
A: Missed live group classes or unused private 1:1 sessions do not roll over and are non-refundable. Class notes, study frameworks, and digital eResources are uploaded to your Wix Member Portal so you never fall behind.
Q: Are all course materials protected by copyright?
A: Yes. All worksheets, study binders, evaluation rubrics, workflows, and portal resources are the exclusive intellectual property of Carmen Adams, RH (AHG), CHN and Innergy Med Group. They are provided solely for your personal educational use and may not be reproduced, shared, or adapted for commercial use.
